Vice President of Marketing
Jeff Mirman currently serves as vice president of marketing for Turner Sports. In this role, he is charged with strategic marketing and planning for Turner Sports’ television sports properties, which includes the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, NBA, MLB, NASCAR and PGA, as well as developing the brand vision for the division’s online and mobile destinations which include NCAA.com, March Madness Live and PGA.com. In addition, Mirman oversees marketing of the NBAD (NBA Digital) portfolio, featuring NBA TV, NBA.com, NBA League Pass, NBA League Pass Broadband, NBADLeague.com and WNBA.com.

Mirman comes to Turner Sports from Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he was director of brand integration, mobile strategy and interactive marketing, overseeing brand marketing and interactive media. He led Starwood’s global strategy for mobile applications, as well as the strategy for Sheraton.com which created a unique, branded consumer experience and created a global merchandizing program. 

In his previous marketing roles, he has served in various capacities such as vice president of the Beyond Interactive Advertising Agency, where he was a part of the senior leadership team responsible for defining overall company strategy and direction. He was also online marketing director for Leading Hotels of the World, establishing and executing a formal online marketing strategy. Earlier marketing experience includes vice president of marketing for Spa Finder, Inc, a global spa resource site.

Mirman has a master’s degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing from the University of California-Irvine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois where he received a bachelor of science in both economics and psychology. He currently sits on the marketing jury for the 2014 Shorty Awards.
